1. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
Goodship collects information about you from various sources and methods, both directly and indirectly, as described below. When this Privacy Policy references “information” that we collect or process about you, the term means information about an identified or identifiable individual that qualifies as “personal information” or “personal data” under the data privacy laws applicable to us, including information that relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked with, directly or indirectly, that individual. “Information” does not include data from which the identifying characteristics have been removed (anonymous data), or data that is collected in relation to your use of the Website, but which does not identify you and is not directly linked to your information.
A. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US
We collect information directly from you when you sign up for a demo, create an account, request customer support, or otherwise communicate with us through our Website. The categories of information we collect may include:

- Communication Information: When you correspond with us via e-mail, the Website, or on third-party platforms, we collect information that you submit in your communications with us and process such information in order to respond to your communication and/or as described in this Privacy Policy.
- Additional Information: We may also collect other information you choose to provide to us, including through feedback, contact us forms, customer service phone calls (which may be recorded for quality assurance purposes, with your consent where required by applicable law), messages, emails, mail, or otherwise.
You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of information that you submit to the Services, whether on your own behalf or behalf of a third party, and ensuring that any personal information that you provide (directly or indirectly) is kept up to date for the purposes for which you provide it. Inaccurate information may affect your ability to use the Services, the information you receive when using the Services, and our ability to contact you.
B. INFORMATION WE COLLECT AUTOMATICALLY
We use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and other technologies which automatically collect information about your use of the Services. A “cookie” is a piece of data sent to your browser by a website or online service that you visit. Depending on the types of information collected, cookies may constitute personal information. For example, when you visit, use, and interact with the Website, we may automatically collect the following categories of information:
- Internet Activity Information: we collect information about how you access our Services, including data about the device and network you use, such as your hardware model, operating system version, mobile network, IP address, unique device identifiers, and browser type. We also collect information about your activity on our Services and your interactions with features of our Services, such as access times, pages viewed, links clicked, and the page you visited before navigating to our Services.
- Audio Information: If you call our customer service team, we may monitor and retain those conversations.
C. INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM OTHER SOURCES
We may obtain information about you from other sources and combine that with information we collect from you directly. For example, we may collect information about you from advertising networks and lead generation providers.
If you are applying for a position with GoodShip, the information we collect from those third parties may include contact and employment/job applicant information.
D. DERIVED INFORMATION
We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect. For example, we may make inferences about your approximate location based on your IP address.
2. USE OF INFORMATION
A. BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL USES
We use the categories of information we collect for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Service Delivery: we use information to fulfill the purposes for which you provided the information (e.g. to provide our Services to you, including by authenticating your account).
- Communication: we use information to communicate with you about GoodShip and our Services, including sending you newsletters, responding to your questions, inform you of price or Services changes, and sending you other transactional or relationship messages.

You can opt out of direct marketing messages we send by following the instructions in those communications (such as by clicking “unsubscribe” in the emails).

B. TARGETED ADVERTISING AND ANALYTICS
We engage others to provide analytics services, serve advertisements, and perform related services across the web and in mobile applications. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Website, including your IP address, web browser and mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked. This information is used to deliver advertising targeted to your interests on other companies’ sites or mobile apps and to analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your activity.
You can also learn more about interest-based ads, or opt out of having your web browsing information used for behavioral advertising purposes by companies that participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance, by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
You may be able to control the way in which your devices permit the use of cookies. If you so choose, you may block or delete our cookies from your browser; however, blocking or deleting cookies may cause some of the Services, including any portal features and general functionality, to work incorrectly. We will not be liable for any interruption in, or inability to use, the Services or any degraded functioning thereof, where such are caused by your settings and choices regarding cookies. Additionally, some web browsers incorporate a “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) or similar feature that signals to websites that a user does not want to have the user’s online activity and behavior tracked. If a website that responds to a particular DNT signal receives the DNT signal, the browser can block that website from collecting certain information about that browser’s user. Our Website does not currently respond to opt-out preference signals sent by Global Privacy Control ("GPC") within the browser, or other DNT signals or mechanisms that indicate your preference for not having information collected over time and across different websites, platforms, and services.
3. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We disclose the categories of information described above to third parties from time to time as described below:
- Vendors: we disclose information to vendors, service providers, contractors and consultants that need this information to provide services to us, such as companies that assist us with web hosting, payment processing, customer service, analytics, and marketing and advertising. Additionally, note that certain features of our Services (“AI Features”) leverage generative AI technologies offered by third-party service providers (“AI Service Providers”). Any personal information that you elect to include in your submissions via AI Features will be submitted for processing by the AI models provided by our AI Service Providers. By submitting your information to our AI Features, you consent to the processing of such information by the applicable AI Service Provider and their AI models.
- Legal Authorities: we may disclose information to legal authorities and others for the Protection and Compliance purposes described above, including if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law or legal process, including lawful requests by public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements and if we believe that your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, if we believe that you have violated the law, or if we believe it is necessary to protect the rights, property, and safety of GoodShip, our users, the public, or others.
- Corporate Transactions: we reserve the right to disclose information in connection with, or during negotiations of certain corporate transactions, including the merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
- Affiliates: we reserve the right to disclose information between and among GoodShip and any current or future parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control and ownership.
- Consent: we may disclose information when we have your consent or you direct us to do so.

We will destroy or de-identify, aggregate, and anonymize personal information when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed; when you withdraw your consent (where lawfulness of processing was based on your consent) and there is no other legal ground for the processing; when you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing; when your personal information has been unlawfully processed; and when it is no longer necessary to comply with legal obligations.
6. SECURITY
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information from misuse, interference, and unauthorized loss, access, modification or disclosure in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Unfortunately, despite such measures, no data transmission over the Internet and no database or other depository of information can be one hundred percent secure. As such, we cannot and do not guarantee or warrant the security of any personal information. We will not be and are not liable for disclosures of personal information due to errors in transmission, networks that we do not control, or unauthorized acts of third parties.
In the event that any of your information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and will notify you, as appropriate, in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations. To protect the confidentiality of the personal information that you submit, however, you must keep the personal information associated with your account confidential and not disclose it to any other person.
